Jon--

Here is an FTP script I use to get PTF cover letters with FTP. Type this
into a text file (with your changes as needed) and feed it to Win95's FTP
with the command line
    FTP -s:<filename>

open xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxxx
<userid>
<password>
cd qgpl <-change to your library here>
get qapzcover.QSF97051   "e:\my documents\v4r2ptfs\QSF97051"
bye

Alternatively, and perhaps better for one-offs, just start FTP by typing FTP
and pressing enter and then enter each command manually.

Don't forget that FTP only works with zoned and character data (ie no
packed, binary or date data types).
