Thanks for the suggestions, I will look into the IBM Search2000 tomorrow.  I 
thought
about writing a utility like this one myself but this in-house software is out 
the
door after we limp through the year 2000, so acquiring a product like IBM 
Search2000
sound like a gift from on high... Thanks Jon.  What else do you know about
PowerTools... Do you mean QUSRTOOL library?   Please advise.
