Has anyone successfully run Java CGI's on V4R2 with ICSS?

I've been using a modified C wrapper from a Technology Preview out of
Hursley (http://www.softmall.ibm.com/as400/java/examples.html) to
actually call the Java program (can't be called directly until V4R3
I hear). I get back "Error 500: Internal error: headers" in the
browser. The wrapper just reads the env vars, constructs a command
string to call the java interpreter, and then does a system() call
with that string. Running debug showed a successful return code of 0
from system().

I've mocked up the environment variables and been able to run the
call from a terminal and it correctly spits back properly formatted
html (including MIME header with two \n). Nothing fancy going on
here, but it's like stdout from the Java code is not making it all
the way back to the browser. I should mention that other C CGI's are
working fine.

Is this possibly an ASCII/EBCDIC/Unicode issue?

TIA,
Darin
