I found an example of the Luhn algorithm in a magazine several months. I coded
it in RPG/LE and use it in an Order Entry program. It does more than just a
checksum. It also validates the issuer of the credit card (i.e. AX cards must
start with a "3" and contain 15 digits). I was always going to go back and
change this to a subprocedure after V3R2 was loaded, but just never got to it.
I'll get a copy of the code and post it later in the week. I do not remember
what magazine that I found it in.
