Hello Art,

The AS/400 can do this.  I've not configured it personally but I know it works. 
 The usual 
problem is that ISPs regard SLIP as unsecure and so require PPP.  PPP is 
provided with V4R2 of 
OS/400. So you'll need to upgrade or use a PC to provide the PPP connection.
