Well, she mentioned VT100 as the emulation type (just like we used to do on
the "old" BBS's).  Now, she connects but receives no sign on screen.  Could it
be due to the fact that our passthru devices have been configured to _not_ use
the QPADEVnnnn structure?  I have no problem at the same number using
NS/Portfolio.

I know.  Not knowing any better, I just threw it out as something for her to
try.  After 7 years of C/A, NetSoft, and Rumba, I just couldn't imagine
something working that didn't provide the facility to name your own device.
Is there possibly a system value that we're overlooking?
