The behavior is normal. Just call the program (or something that eventually
calls the program). If you used F10, it'll stop at the first executable
statement in the program, and you can continue to step with F10 or set
breakpoints or whatever. If you used F12, it'll stop at the first
breakpoint you set. (If you didn't set any when the source appeared, it
won't stop.)

Not obvious, is it.
