Actually, SF45545 doesn't work fine - although it may only be a problem
with PC5250 and direct TCP/IP connections (not sure). APAR SA70606 is
open with IBM for nasty SEU problems found with this Service Pack. As
Art first posted:

I've figured out the problem that I am having with SEU and Client
access.
Update an existing source member (option 2). Insert a line with I, type

in some code, then before pressing enter, press F10 to go to top. It
doesn't do that. F10 never works. That's the least of my problems,
though.
OK, Press F9. That shows a message that "There are no commands to
retrieve". That's right, but in the past, the cursor still went to the
command line at the top. That's now a feature, it probably used to be a

bug. That's still not the worst problem.
Press F5 to start over. You will be at command line. Enter a valid
command, T or B or F, whatever. OK, now there are commands in memory.
Insert your line again using I. Before pressing enter, press F9.
Cursor goes to command line. Clear the command and press enter. The
line that you just inserted is gone! Any commands that you had on line
numbers like copy or move also disappear. Even if you don't clear the
command, they changes will disappear. I used to insert, change,
whatever, or put CC's or MM's next to lines, press F9 to go to top, then

enter F to find my place to copy to.
It's like F9 is now CA09, not CF09.
I use F9 a lot to get back to command line. I like it better than F10
because I know that F9 brings me to the top, not to source or top
depending on where I am.
Anyone else able to duplicate this?

The new service pack has been out for a week or so: SF45545.
I've got it on
several machines and works fine. IBM added the PC5250 and
NetSoft/IE v4.0
problems to this pack that were supposed to be in the short
lived SF43837.
