I use CuteFTP and it has this problem, because the 400, as someone else
responded, doesn't format ftp output like anyone else. And Cute doesn't
allow user-defined layouts.

I've heard that WSftp is better. Also, a tn5250 product called, I think,
lognet has a little ftp client that does a pretty good job with as400.
Maybe Hummingbird has one, too.
