I don't disagree at all, however a well written program would say:

   c    *inkc   doweq *on

this will never work!  ;)

   c    25 lines of code
   c    *inkl   ifeq  *on
   c            exsr inklon
   c            endIF
   c            endDO

Now this I don't mind reading. And you can always compile the program   
with
indentation to see the loop levels.

This opinion and 4.50 will get you a cup of coffee near me (downtown NYC)
