  • Subject: OV/400 & remote SMTP users

   Hi there!

Does anyone knows the exact command lines to create the best
directory entry for a user that has his mail redirected to a smtp
server nearby (not the same machine)? I read that its possible, never
manage to acomplish it, its always complaining about something
missing in another place. :/ What we planned was that our main smtp
server and our Officevision one would have the same users, but
redirect mail to one another, allowing terminal and AS/400 users to
read both internal and intra/internet mail in OV/400 and our
remote Notes users to receive mail from OV/400 users using SMTP.
That way they wouldnt need to know how the user in question
reads the mail - if its a OV/400 user or Notes/Smtp user. Or is there
a better way to do it?

Best regards,

Pedro Rodrigues
