Do a DSPFD on your QRPGSRC file - look for CCSID. If it's 65535 it
means 'Hexadecimal - No translation to be done'. If you can, do a CHGPF
to your correct CCSID (probably 037 - but check one of the files that
DOES download OK).
If you can't change your files CCSID for some reason, read the README
files included with CA/400 service packs where the CCSID translation
problem/feature ( :-) ) is discussed, and the cwbtfr.ini workaround
- which is basically to put a file called cwbtfr.ini in c:\windows
containing:

[Client Access Data Transfer]
ForceTranslation=1;

        Help,

I'm having trouble downloading an RPGLE source member from the
as/400 to
my pc. the connection is sna, and I'm using data transfer in
cawin for
        NT.

any other file has no problem, (dds, cl, etc) but when I try
from
QRPGLESRC all I get is junk. Lots of it. looks like
hexadecimal.

the only difference I can see between them is the record length
(112
        instead of 92)

Is there something I'm missing? Has anyone else had this
problem?

        Thanks in advance

        Rick
