I have three (going on 4) systems connected via token ring.  We use
DDM extensively, TCP (telnet) on occasion, DSPT extensively, SNADS
occasionally, and some other APPC applications extensively (Broderick
remote spool xfer).  I never could get management to buy into
OptiConnect (although with the price cuts who knows?).  Everything
works great although I am keeping my eye on options for improving
DDM.....
