It's unclear to me why IBM added the FRCOBJCVN feature.  If you wanted
immediate access to the program without having the user get the 'Converting
to 64 bit...' message, it would have been a better design to launch
asynchronous tasks to do object conversion in the background.

The downside of that it that it could tend to flood a slower CPU.  This is
essentially the design that Peter O'Connor uses with his PC Accelerator
product.  It gets the job done with a significantly lower elapsed time, but
by flooding the CPU with work, you can't do much of anything else.  

My approach is to do side-by-sides over two weekends, and let STROBJCVN
work at it's own rate.
