Just look at how many shops *still* use SEU exclusively for their editing needs.
This is an antique!  It can't even edit multiple sources at once.  I think that 
IBM
deliberately released their version of "EDLIN" to make a 3rd party editor
commercially feasable, but nobody was able to market an AS/400 editor that
has the power of XEDIT or EMACS...  Even the PC based editors have a sparse
audience.
