Subject: Credit Card Verification from AS/400

I am looking for some insite in to an AS/400 based Credit Card
verification/Authorization process. While I often see the
little ZON
processors next to AS/400 green screens, I seldom see a green
Screen
application that is doing credit card processing online with a
service in
        the back ground.

I know the SET processing is comming with a future release but
I am not
even sure that this will be the right answer for this type
application. I
am looking for a leased/dial up link under control of a batch
task that
receives requests from a data queue, handshakes with the
authorizing
agency and returns the response to requesting user.

Any direction, contacts, reading material is appreciated...

         Thanks,
         Jeff Silberberg
