I think you are probably right for most shops, we've been fortunate to be able 
to
have the necessary authority and backing to force standards.  It's made for a
less panic ridden environment. It has really payed off to spend the extra
time/money up front.

It sure was a hard sell though.  I think in a couple of years when the stuff 
hits
the fan and war stories are swapped, the one's that will get hurt the most are
the shops that have historically been trying to get by on the cheap.  They're
paying now with interest.
