--- ALL the job descriptions have INQMSGRPY(*RQD).


--- I cannot see were, on the system reply list, I can specify *RQD for
a message.


--- Batch jobs are submitted using SBMJOB, and the command is, most of
the times, OPNQRYF.


--- As a note: There is a 'request for reply' sent to the system
operator, but the request is for the higher level, the one that called
the OPNQRYF.

-------- Maybe the problem rely on the fact that the CPA4259 message HAS
a 'default' reply specified!
