Obviously we all love our AS/400's as opposed to the PC's. One
of the things I encounter with the PC network vs. the AS/400 is that
I always have to think about the PC's and their pocessing speed etc
and budget for those upgrades in the future. My AS/400 is easy....
dumb terminals, okay, I do have model choices, color vs
monochrome/green, but I don't have to worry about my users
complaining about who has the faster PC....

I believe that you will find the cost of PC"s, support, etc. more
expensive than the AS/400. Upgrade your AS/400.... I'll be doing
that in the next few weeks to the new "e" series. I can hardly wait
to see my performance improvements, however, now I won't have excuses
to have that "stare" as I wait for the screen to change... :-) Oh
well, guess I'll have to really work !! LOL !!

Good Luck !
