  • Subject: OUTPUT QUEUE MONITORING

You should use chgoutq, and change the maximum spooled file size to
800
pages and enter the starting and stop time (I enter the entire 24 hour
period so my laser printers don't print more than 100 pages). This
generates a spooled file with status DFR and you can move it to
another
queue, or if you only want to print large spooled files after hours
set
your times accordingly. This is a great feature of the operating
system
          - saves many a tree around here!

          Subject: Output Queue Monitoring

Does anyone know of a way to monitor the contents of an outq?
Basically, I want the system to HOLD all 800+ page spool files from
          automatically printing.

          TIA,
          Gary Feinstein
