You might look at the router configuration.  On my NT version under
"Properties" for a given router configuation, there is an "Inactivity
Disconnect Timer" setting as well as a "Forced disconnect" checkbox.  My
inactivity timer is set to 60 seconds and the forced disconnect is off.  I
often leave my sessions idle for hours at a time while doing design work, and
never have a problem being logged off...
