  • Subject: Snads Problems

First of all I would like to thank everyone that responded to my problem
with Pass through. It is working great now. However I am still having
a problem with SNADS.

My problem is as follows:

We have 2 AS/400's a F-45 and F-60. All the distribution queues and
routes have been set up on both systems. As far as I know everything is
set up. I have entries in the system directory of *ANY on both systems.
Now what is happening is that SNADS is working from the F-45 to F-60,
we can send data and spools files. The problem is it doesn't work from
the F-60 to the F-45. When I monitor the queues on the F-60 after
trying to send something the status goes to Rty-Wait first then Rty-Fail
after a period of time. If I hold and release the queue it does the
same thing. I have tried to check and make sure that both systems are
similar as far as communication entrees and such. I don't know where to
go from here so if anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate
it.

Thanks in advance,

Greg Weber (IGRWU@Packerland.com)
