Michael,

My first suggestion is to increase the Active Link Time Out on the
NetSoft router. To do this, go into NS/Administrator, go into the
properties of the router you have configured, and it should be there
under the Links tab. I think the default is 120 seconds.

If you're using AnyNet, then there is another setting that may help as
well. On that same Links tab, the AnyNet should be highlighted. Press
the properties button. On that page (link profile tab), there is a
setting for Keep Alive Timer Interval. I think its default is 3
minutes.

Increasing both of these may solve your problem. We have a few users
who have complained about lockups and this has helped some of them.

Good luck!

Subject: NS Router/NT & Ethernet

Hello,

I am try to run net soft router with a Ethernet card and Windows NT. I
am able to connect and start a session but after a while my session
hangs and becomes unusable. I am on V3R2 and the latest service pack.
I should add that I had been doing the same thing with Token ring and
not having any problems.

Any Clues?

Thanks In Advance
