Michael,
        First of all, specify WRKWTR *ALL to see all the printers.  Just doing
WRKWTR will show only your localazied AS400 printers.  By specifying
*ALL for the WTR prompt, you will see all remote writers.
        As for printing directly to the printer, we do this just fine.  Create
a remote output queue, specifying the IP address for the remote printer
queue parameter.  This works without having to specify a queue in
JetAdmin or whatever pritner managing software you use.
