Re: Replacing ECS-modems

In my opionion the best alternative to the IBM modems are the UDS V. series
V3225 - 9600
V3229 - 14400
V3400 - 28800
They are great, easy to config and reasonably priced.  I have no connection
to UDS/Motorola, just a happy customer.
I have used USR 33.6 and 28.8 Sportsers on a V24 port configed as a dial up
SLIP (TCP/IP) connection and they also perform great.
