Come on, you don't want to write code!!! It will be a lot quicker, and
simpler.
How about just a little but of code? I have a VCP (Validity Checking
Program) running on V3R7 (Think it worked on V3R6 also). It logs changes
to RUNPTY, JOBQ, and I think Timeslice. It also prevents certain users
from changing LOGLVL and LOGCLPGM. It would only require slight
modification for your needs. If this is what you need, please let me
know, and I'll download the code from the 400 and E-mail it to you.

I must give thanks to all on the List who helped in the development of
that code. I can't remember who said what, but the tip on using single
characters for each parm and then working up to the correct size by
examining the fields in debug is one way of developing a VCP. Another
great help was the tip that pointed me to the RTVCMDSRC command. By
retrieving the source, it is easy to develop the parm list. (THis code
came off of News/400 or MC's Web site, and is a godsend, As I recall, it
was written in REXX, and is a great way to learn a little about REXX.
