 This is part of a sad state of customer support / attitude from IBM.  I
have a client that purchased a used F04 from an IBM BP.  They also licensed
OS/400.  The machine hadn't been IPLed in a while.  The system asked for a
key, which they tried to get from IBM.  They were sent from dept. to dept.,
person to person in an almost endless circle.  This lasted for several
*WEEKS* (I think it was 6) !!!  To make matters worse, IBM paperwork
insisted this was an F06 instead of the F04 it really was (even though they
can easily look this up in their databases.)

 Anyway, by the time this ordeal was finally solved, the customer was ready
to send the system back and get a PC system!!!
