Paul asks?
Any reason you scrapped the Macintoshes and went Wintel?

The pc support person who worked here at one time had solution for every MIS
problem. Mac. more memory bigger newer Mac. Need windows, slap on a DOS on
Mac card.

Try and run FAS2000 (windows based Fixed Asset system) on a Mac with a DOS
card, which was a 486 25 or 33 speed. Or run a Fox pro windows design
system for corn breeders the same way.

We now look at what the users needs are and recommend from there. In some
cases we are switching from Mac to W/95. In other areas, these are new
additional PCs. Our business is expanding, thank goodness for that and we
just needed more PCs.

What the correct solution is, that is whatwe recommend. Whether it be AS/400,
Mac, W/95, client access, or whatever. Whatever is best solution.
