Micro House International is offering a 20-day trial of ImageCast, new
network imaging and duplication software that the company says will
configure a network PC in a fraction of the time the task now takes. And
when the company says fast, it means fast: A couple of minutes to set up a
new 1GB to 2GB system.

"It spares the tech from having to go from PC to PC to set it up," says
Director of Marketing Kevin Howard.

ImageCast works by duplicating a hard-drive image from any PC or sever on
an existing network and distributing it simultaneously to any number of PCs
on a network. The target systems then contain an exact duplicate of the
original image.

Micro House adds that ImageCast is "the only network imaging software that
lets the network administrator "multicast" complete drive images without
hogging network bandwidth. It supports both the FAT16 and FAT32
file-allocation methods, the OSR2 release of Windows 95, NetWare, and Unix
partitions.

The trial download comes as a 2-user pack and will be available for
approximately two more months. Deliveries of ImageCast will begin sometime
between July 7 and July 11, with a 2-client pack retailing for $99, a
5-client pack for $195 and the 25-client version ringing in at $495. Since
its Web-site release three days ago, Micro House says response to ImageCast
has been strong. http://www.solutions.microhouse.com
