I don't understand what difference ILE makes in this case.  We ship all   
our code with observability removed.  We never know the source line   
number in the *rare* instance of a customer encountering a failing   
program ;) .  I'm assuming you also ship with observability removed, and   
would be in the same boat, ILE or no.

is great.  However, I think it is ugaly.  Ugaly is 1,000 times worse than
