The code I posted explained where/where not it would work, but just to
re-cap

The code is compiled & attached to the USERS message queue as the break
message handler
so the following will happen -

- With a message sent to the 'users' message queue
This works as intended.

- Any message sent to the users 'device' message queue (as SNDBRKMSG does)
These messages do still break to the DSPMSG panel.

If QEZSNDMSG is used to send the message to the user, the code not work.
QEZSNDMG sends messages with delivery mode set to *BREAK to the users
workstation
message queue, and will cause the screen to break to the DSPMSG panel.
