  • Subject: Changing CA address on laptop

I just purchased a ThinkPad (380) for the company and we need to use it
for multiple things such as a PC for CRT users to use when they need to
type a memo, training, and presentations to potential customers.

The problem I need help on is this: (and where do I go for answers???
TO THE EXPERTS on this great list)

We currently attach all the PCs to the AS/400 using CA and Personal
Communications so we can use virtual printing, save PC files to the
AS/400 etc. There is no network involved. The PCs are attached
through data jacks to a patch panel and hub.
To accomplish the memo typing, training and presentatiions with the
laptop, I will need to move it and it's port replicator to different
data jacks in 3 different locations in the office and make sure it
attaches to the 400.

What do you think is the best way to accomplish this?

TIA
cheri
