AS/400 Web server problem

I want to test the AS/400 HTTP server and have followed step by step the
recommandations written on http://as400.rochester.ibm.com/workshop.

1.TCP/IP is working fine
2.A welcome HTML page has been produced with MS Microsoft Word 97, which
includes 2 .GIF and 2 .JPG
3.The 5 files including the .HTM have been moved to the folder QDLS/WEBSAMP
4.I have authorized the server to access my welcome file with CHGAUT
OBJ(''QDLS/BWEBSAMP') USER(QTMHHTTP) DTAAUT(*RX), CHGAUT
OBJ(''QDLS/BWEBSAMP/WECOME.HTM') USER(QTMHHTTP) DTAAUT(*RX), and the same
has been done for the 4 other files
5.The directory entry has been defined
6.Pass  / /WEBSAMP and
Welcome welcome.htm 
have been changed
7.The server has been started

When I try to access with MS Internet Explorer 3.02 (with Windows NT 4.0)
the system name http://gva4001, then I see the WELCOME.HTM displayed but
without the background (the 2 .GIF and .JPEG)). When I look at the source
with my browser, the code looks correct… Why the images do not appear?
