It
detects that QSYS/QADBIFLD *FILE is damaged and attempts to delete it. The
job log is full of CPF32D2 messages - file cannot be deleted because it is
open. The job that has the lock is QDBSRVXR2. The system is in a restricted
condition as confirmed by the CPF0968 message to QSYSOPR. However, QDBSRVXR2

 cannot be ended. >>
Dave,

There is a program in QSYS that will reorganize the QADBIFLD file, which
will fix the damage on that file as well. I can't remember the exact name,
but its something like QDBRCLXR. I know thats not the name, but try looking
for something like that in QSYS. It requires the system in a dedicated state.

We have noticed quite a few differences between V3R1 and V3R2 (as well as
v3R6 & V3R7) in the way the system locks this file. We have seen a few sites
with this damage after they went to V3R2, and it has been fixed each time
running the program that I can't remember above (sorry).
