  • Subject: POP mail 'long line' truncation

For tgose using POP mail on the AS/400, with OV/400 to view mail, you have
probably had cases where ASCII mail with long lines is not readable by
OV/400. There is now a PTF out (with EXTENSIVE documentation in the PTF
cover letter that you must read) that can solve this problem by splitting
the long lines into shorter ones.
V3R2 PTF for 5763TC1 is SF40855.
This PTF came out 05/22/97. Haven't seen a V3R7 PTF yet.
