Andre,

Yes you can. Just define a pointer initialized to null, and use
%addr(whatever) to assign a value to it. You can base a mask on the
pointer (or multiple scalars if you need to redefine a simple
dataspace). You can set the pointer to the address of an array, or an
array element. You cannot do pointer math, but you can overlay anything
with an array of bytes and set the pointer to the element at the desired
offset.
