You don't say what release or PTF level you are at, but considering the
number of PTFs that are written for Query/SQL problems the first thing I
would do is make sure the latest PTF cum package is applied.

If you are on V3R2, I would also order the following, which aren't
presently on a cum package:
MF15482 (this supersedes MF14762 & MF15239 - also not on cum packages -
that refer to MCH3203).
