Gary - 

Same thought as in another post - when was the disk tasks job last run - if
you print one of the disk tasks reports you'll see the data collection date.

Also, run the WRKDSKSTS command, that tells you exactly whats going on at
the current time. 

Or you can go into service tools
        STRSST
        Option 3 - work with disk units
        Option 1 - display disk configuration
        Option 2 - display disk confuration capacity

        This will show you the current utilization of all disk drives.
