IBM 4317 (NP17) Printers -- MIDRANGE-L

We have a couple of NP17's that are experiencing "Waiting to Print"
syndromes.  The only way to get them printing again is to stop the writer
and reboot the printer.  They are configured as 4028's AFP-Yes running on
V3R6.  Is anyone experiencing the same probs?  Will upgrading to V3R7 and
configuring them as 4317's help?
