In order to check if a job is still active, you should use the QUSLJOB API
( List job ).
Use following input parameters :
 Qualified job name : "BATCH01___*ALL______*ALL__"
 Status : "*ACTIVE"
This will return the complete qualified jobname for the job(s) "BATCH01"
that are still active.
After that you can use the QUSRJOBI API ( Retrieve job information ) to get
the complete jobinformation.

If you want,I'll can send you an example of using these API's as soon I'm
back in the office .
