It depends... on the file you used to load the subfile.  If the file you
read is  an unindexed physical (I THINK) you'll load in RRN (arrival) sequence.

However, if you read using any index, your subfile will not be in RRN sequence.

If you goal is to be able to re-connect to the disk file, why not add enough
hidden fields to hold the key fields for the file?
