Help!

I need to access my client's machine through the async port via modem.

The initial setup was done by my client, and while it worked (sort of) I
was running into very slow access times.

In an attempt to fix the situation, I have managed to totally blow it out.

We're using a Moterola V.3400 modem.

Currently, the modems talk o.k., and the system seems to get some sort of
connect, (the 400 creates the proper line description for the workstation.)

Then everything stops, the line is dropped and there are no error messages
on the 400, and the log messages in the CA log file on the pc don't help
me....

Seems to be failing at the security validation step, but I can't see any
reason for it....

Running the last CA Beta posted by IBM in Februrary before the release.

Thanks for any & all help.

Charles
