This may or may not answer your question.  
 SELECT FIELD1,SUM(AMOUNT1),COUNT(*)  from FILEA GROUP BY FIELD1  
 HAVING COUNT(*) > 3   

I appologize if I am missing your question. I have run into instances 
where a single query wouldn't do the  job and I had perform multiple 
steps were required to get results.
