You need to have an output file type that allows for fixed length text where
the trailing blanks are not truncated.  Synapse (free demo at
www.synapse.com) has such a feature in their file transfer.  Netsoft took
their display and printer software but wrote their own file xfer so this is
a place where there is product differentiation.  Synapse also supports dBase
download so that the data dictionary is extracted from the DDS specs and
comes down with the data.  Tech support is free and upgrades are free.
