We currently have a full time position for one of our clients located in
Hatfield, PA. The salary is $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per years.
1. Design systems in support of user requirements that integrate
Client Server technology and solutions into our ERP (MAPICS XA) system
environment.
2. Analyze user requests for system modifications and determine the
best way of accomplishing the request within the XA environment.
3. Ensure that programs and systems created use system resources
efficiently.
4. Document all new software/systems or modifications to existing
software/systems.
5. Develop standards related to the use of, and communication with,
the iSeries software.
6. Assist in selecting and implementing operating systems, its
components, other generalized software and database management systems
as it relates to the AS/400(iSeries).
7. Use the Brooks standard project management techniques to ensure
delivery of projects by the scheduled project completion date.
8. Review existing systems and refine to increase efficiency and
reduce operation time and expense.
9. Strong verbal & written communications skills. Be able to
interact with all levels of management and staff.
10. Have a working knowledge of networking, Web deployment; object
orientated programming concepts and database structures.
11. Have experience with Microsoft desktop applications and systems.
12. Have the ability to participate on company continuous
improvement process teams.
13. Assist the operations group as needed in the periodic updates of
purchased programs and systems that run on the AS/400(iSeries) platform.
14. Ability to follow all safety procedures and to get along in a
team environment.
15. Regular attendance is required.
16. Other duties as assigned.
