Don't bring your mother in to this. Here's my point, which I should've made
clear. A statement was made against Hillary (again, I'm no fan of hers, and
I do NOT want her to be prez), and I asked for some kind of reference or
link. So, your initial reply was sarcastic.

Ok, I can live with that. This is what I found objectionable. One was that a
claim was made without substantiation, and when I asked for something, I get
a reply with a link that does not lead to any answers. Understand this, I
checked out the google link, I went to all of the links on the first page,
and didn't find anything to back up the statement.

Okay, so I used a sarcastic tone when I replied. "Live with the sword,
die...".

Like I've said, the weaker the argument, the more likely one will attack the
person. BTW, did you look up ad hominem?

I'll give you that I should've gotten Joe's link, and for that I stand
corrected. As to not believing what you have to say, my friend, I repeat,
I'm just challenging you to back up what you have to say. That's all. No
need to be offended or defensive.

A problem, too, with e-mail exchanges is the inability to gauge the other
person's tone. If you were trying to be cute, it wasn't apparent.

And, Joe, as to references to my position, what I'm doing is challenging
those who make positions just to back them up. If there's something you
think I should back up, please do point it out.

Regards.
Kevin

Sorry, pal, didn't realize that you were unable to abide any challenge to
your orthodoxy.

Folks, we're not going to see meaningful debate here. I've yet to see Kevin
make one reference to anything that backs up his position, while others have
supplied plenty.

So PDFTT.

Joe
