I have been having a little problem finding work. I started in 2000, worked for
a manufacturer who in a years time promptly got on the H1b wagon sponsored and
hired off the lottery boat for savings. In 2001 I find myself overwhelmed by
the influx of AS/400 Programmers out of work with much more experience than
myself at the time which put me in a professional limbo. Found some consulting
contracts over a period of 5 years ending with a one month contract ending in
January 2006. With all the given holes on my employment record I find it next
to impossible to convince any prospective employer of my expertise. I can and
have done good work for the clients I have come across. But when employers see
my resume they shy away because of the gaps which vary from 3-6 months. I have
good references from the last job I had. I even passed a AS/400 RPG prove it
exam six months ago in the top 80% percentile.

I just need one need one chance to prove myself to a company, any company,
preferably Warehouse Retail/Distribution.
