We have an immediate need for an OS/400/DB2 expert to join our team inReading, PA. One hour from Philly. Candidate must be able to size,performance tune, update OS and plan/justify hardware upgrades in alarge-scale, multiple processor shop. We are interested in anyone who iswilling to relocate ( company will pay expenses) and has had worked with5 plus as400's remote and local, data mirroring, role swapping, etc.....salary 70- 90'sK. - Maintenance
- Upgrades
- Update documentation

Operating System - O/S related issues (IBM PMR’s)
- O/S Testing
- O/S upgrades
- Documenting upgrade procedures

AS/400 Performance Management - Monitoring - (knowledge of PerformanceNavigator and Centerfield software a plus)

- Issue reporting
- Performance tuning
- Documentation

Software - Knowledge of Data Propagator, MQ, LXI, PGP

Customer has a large 24x7 data center with AS/400’s running in variouslocations in Reading, PA and Cleveland, OH.

There are 3 production systems, 2 running RPG applications, 1 actingprimarily as a large backend DB2 server for web applications.
