That is correct. Without a Client method to maintain/copy an Item Line
record, there will be no method in SystemLink.
One could probably be developed, but do thorough research first. There is
some work that happens behind the green screen when creating some of the
REP records.

Hi,

We are implementing REP in a wire factory and have found the need to be
able to Copy existing Item/Line definitions as we have multiple Production
Lines on which a product can be manufactured. I have found that there is
an Item/Line business object in EI, but it doesn't provide any maintenance
functionality; would this mean that System-Link couldn't be used to develop
a function to provide the copy requirements?

Any help or suggestions are gratefully accepted.
