Hi all,

I would like to include an edit on a Create transaction in the "Bill of Material Component" business object.

I have added an entry on the "Edits" card of the BOMCMP business object, and generated the program (UMDCUN0R) successfully. Under certain conditions, I need to prevent an Item from being include/added to a BOM.

I have tried to follow "KB1520968 Attachment Code File Delete Edit" as the basis for modifying the program with no success. I added the code, but didn't get the desired error displayed.

If anyone can send me an overview of the various Edit Scopes, and when they should be used, it would be of great assistance. If there is a general overview of how to modify the Integrator User Exits, it would also be a great help.

Furthermore, I know that the modified program is being accessed during the edit of a Component Create, as I have checked the last date used on the object, but I would like to be able to de-bug the program once it is compiled and ready for testing.

Any assistance will be readily and gratefully received.

Rgrds,

Alan
